As a JA volunteer, you will utilize our proven materials to deliver a JA program to a class of students in grades K-12, teaching them concepts about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.

All volunteers receive a training from JA staff and all necessary materials to successfully deliver your JA program. You may have the option to select from various grade levels and JA programs.

Why should you volunteer with Junior Achievement? Nearly half of the families living in South Florida are just one financial emergency away from poverty. Understandably, the adults in these families need to focus on working to pay for housing, meals, transportation, and healthcare. These families rely on the school system and organizations like Junior Achievement to provide their children with an education that reaches beyond the classroom, preparing their children to navigate the “business of life.” While the parents are busy at work, Junior Achievement is busy in the classroom, humbly taking on the responsibility of providing role models and proven curricula to teach our community’s young people about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Our goal is to empower these children to graduate, find employment, and ultimately break the cycle of poverty. We invite you to join us by registering as a volunteer for the current school year!
