Junior Achievement of MIami

At JA Miami, we believe that every child can be inspired and empowered to succeed financially. Our graduates are confident, practical, knowledgeable, and most importantly, prepared.

How? We know that we can change their path, and change their life, by teaching kids about money: how to earn it, save it, spend it, and share it. We provide hands-on, in-school learning experiences in underserved Miami public schools, delivered by community volunteers, in everything from budgeting, credit cards and loans to career readiness and entrepreneurship. Free to students, delivered by us, and funded 100% by donors and local partners.

In fact – a gift of just $50 per month is enough to provide twelve students with the knowledge, to gain the confidence to eventually make smart financial decisions, break the cycle of poverty, and build economic opportunity for themselves and their communities.
You can support us in a number of ways: individual gifts, named sponsorships, donor-advised funds, IRA RMDs, legacy contributions, non-cash assets.

Our preferred and most critical is recurring donations, as they provide a steady stream of income, allowing us to plan and execute long-term projects with confidence. This financial stability helps ensure that programs and services can continue without interruption, making a lasting impact on the community.
