Future Bound Miami - Volunteer Opportunity

As a component of Florida's first and largest Children's Savings Account CSA initiative, Future Bound Miami, JA and our volunteers deliver classroom lessons to elementary school students to enhance their financial capabilities and boost their ability to save money through a special bank account, provided through Future Bound. Studies have shown that students with even a small amount of savings are more likely to graduate high school and pursue post-secondary education.

Each class will need at least one volunteer to deliver JA's proven, grade-specific curriculum, teaching students critical lessons about needs and wants, earning, and saving - that's where you come in. 

These students really need your help... Two-thirds of the students we serve currently live at or below poverty level. As an in-class volunteer, you can help guide them on the path to a brighter financial future...

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO:

Follow these simple steps to become involved with Future Bound Miami as a Junior Achievement volunteer:

1. Select a school and let us know you'd like to volunteer by filling out this online form.
2. Junior Achievement will connect you with a teacher at the school you select and send you all necessary instructions and teaching materials. If needed, you'll also receive a short training on Junior Achievement programs.
3. Change lives!
